what does chiropractic cure?
Chiropractic doesn’t cure anything! Nor is it a treatment for disease. If there’s going to be any curing, your body will do it. Chiropractors reduce the interference that may be preventing your body from expressing it’s natural healing capacity. That’s why chiropractors are interested in the nervous system. With a revived nerve supply, your self-healing abilities are released.

HOW MANY ADJUSTMENTS WILL I NEED?
The number of adjustments required will vary with every individual case, as healing is dependant on many factors including our current health and how long you’ve had symptoms. Some symptomatic relief will often happen within 4-6 visits, but strengthening and rehabilitation will take longer.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE FIRST VISIT?
Initially, you will have a consultation and examination. If it is appropriate to do so, treatment can also begin on the first visit. It is best to allow up to an hour for this appointment, as times can vary depending on the condition / health history. You do not usually need to get undressed, however, if this is necessary a gown will be provided.
WILL I NEED X-RAYS?
X-rays are not always necessary, but if you do need them this will be discussed at your first appointment. If you already have recent X-rays, certainly bring them with you.
is chiropractic regulated?
Chiropractic is a registered profession, which means every chiropractor in the UK has been fully checked and approved by the General Chiropractic Council.
WHAT are your COVID -19 policies?
We are still enforcing a PPE policy for chiropractors and ensuring optimal cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic. Patients no longer need to wear face masks if they choose not to and we respect each individual’s choice. The health and safety of our patients always was, and continues to be, our priority.
how can I improve my immune system?
When you have an issue with your spine it will have an impact on how well your nervous system works. If the nerves are sending confused messages to the body, it will be less effective at combating infection. One of the ways to have a better immune system is to have a better nervous system. For this reason, regular Chiropractic care contributes to achieving this. Other ways to help boost the immune system are a healthy diet, regular exercise, plenty of sleep and minimising stress. Stress can be emotional, physical or chemical.
